The Freedom Writers began many years ago as a project of Riseup Western Mass Indivisible (RUWMI). For the last 8 years, RUWMI (Springfield, MA area) has operated without any funding. But now interest is high, participation is exploding and the time has come to make some investments in: (1) a sound system for rallies, (2) banners for standouts and parades and (3) a new printer for posters and handouts. Senator Chris Murphy said earlier this week to reach out beyond your own reps. The question was “What do you do when you agree with your state’s reps?”
Use this spreadsheet as a resource to call/email/write members of Congress, the Cabinet and news organizations. Reach out to your own reps, as well as those in other states on a specific committee important to a topic you’re sharing. Use your voice and make some “good trouble.”
