What is C-SPAN? It’s the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network, which was created in 1979 to televise proceedings of the US federal government for free to all Americans. You can download the app to your phone, or watch on the internet.
Today, the GOP is hoping no one will as they Vote in the House on the One Big Ugly Bill of Betrayal.
They are hoping no one will see them as they …
Throw 17 M people off their healthcare
Destroy rural hospitals
Increase the national deficit by $3.3 trillion over a decade
Block Planned Parenthood funding
Reduce revenues by $4.5 T while only cutting spending by $1.2 T
Defund student loans and scholarships
Wipe out gender affirming care
Gut SNAP
Erase environmental protections
Increase $$$ for ICE and the Pentagon
Cut federal worker benefits
Trump is counting on us being tired, unaware … preoccupied.
But, what if ALL OF US started streaming C-SPAN on multiple devices …
… and kept watching it all day …?
I hear Trump has a thing about ‘ratings.’
We have been pounding our Senators with phone calls over the last few weeks, but now that the Big Bill of Betrayal is back in the House, it’s time to switch gears and start pounding our House Representatives (see the “Action: Call Your US Rep NOW!” below),
… but we also need to show them: WE ARE WATCHING THEM VOTE on C-SPAN.
