House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.) said Democrats will hold the line until they get a permanent extension of ObamaCare subsidies. This is good. If they (and we) stay strong, we could get at least that one moral thing.
Trump’s Party is Beginning to Crack:

Voting is a right, not a privilege. We’ve got until Oct 20, 2025 to protect it.
More than half of all Americans either don’t have a passport or have changed their name since birth, (i.e., married women).
Trump’s Party knows that, and that’s why they wanted to pass the so-called, “SAVE Act,” earlier this year. It would have required all Americans to “show their papers” before they could vote. They wanted to exclude as many eligible voters as they could.
We pushed back, and “The SAVE Act” failed.
… But Trump’s Party has resurrected it from the dead, and ...
Right now, through 10/20/25, the EAC (Election Assistance Commission) is accepting public comments on this issue. Anti-voter advocates from Trump’s Party have flooded the EAC website with one-sided, misleading comments. We can fight back with comments of our own!
