Insider Trading?

Welcome to whipsaw Wednesday! It’s been quite a day in the old US of A!

The day started off with ominous warnings about the Treasury Market crashing from heavy names like hedge fund superstar Cathie Wood and stockbroker Peter Schiff. The markets plunged in the morning, and then, miraculously, they rose … shortly after 12 noon. Trump had decided to “pause” his tariffs on all the countries of the world for 90 days … with the exception of China.

Well, wasn’t that special?

Or, more blatantly, “What the F***?”

I don’t know about you, but my mind went straight to this gutter: This M**F**’n King of Manipulation is doing some serious insider trading here.

And then I find out that Adam Shiff’s mind went to the EXACT SAME GUTTER! What can I say? Great minds think alike.

Here’s Adam Schiff’s Substack post from this afternoon. It’s only 2+ minutes, but it does the job.

So, here’s the deal. We here at the Freedom Writers have already written a script for you to call your Congresspeople about this suspected Insider Trading “situation.” Please take this action to Investigate Whether or not Trump Engaged in Insider Trading ASAP!

Then, please MAKE THE TIME TO do this week’s CAD actions as well. These are highly vetted actions that are top priority and will really help us all row in the same direction! It should only take you an hour to do them all. No excuses! We only have a democracy to save here. But, no pressure. : )

CAD Team Weekly Action Dispatch - April 7, 2025

Each week, the CAD receives suggested actions from a wide range of activists through the CAD Team Action Submission Form, and works with legislative experts, including the ACLU, Common Cause, and MIRA (Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition) to vet and prioritize a short list of actions for the week.

Please consider doing these priority CAD actions before you do other actions this week, so we can multiply our power and increase our impact! All actions can be done either by individuals or groups.

Today’s CAD Priority Actions:

Call US Officials to Protect Public Health: Oppose HHS Workforce and Program Cuts - Our strength is in our ability to stand tall in the face of chaos. Our public health is under threat from RFK, and we need to stand tall to stop it.

Call MA Officials to Protect Our Health - No, it’s not an illusion. We want you to call BOTH your US Elected Officials and your MA Elected Officials on these similar issues. Why? Because our national health is REALLY important!

Contact your MA State Elected Officials to Support Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) Funding - This action will help you feed your neighbors with good, nutritional food. Please find 15 min. in your busy schedule to do this.
