Yes, RFK Jr. wants to take us back to the dark ages. He wants to replace the scientific method with conspiracy therories and AI algorithms that maximize alarm! and make people click! and make him (and Trump) money!
He wants to throw the medical experts out of the CDC and fill their seats with toadies who will do what they’re told (NYT, no paywall, 8/29/25).
He also wants to overhaul how doctors are paid (Politico, 8/30/25), which makes the doctors who want to stand up to him … nervous.
He wants to reduce the number of people eligible for vaccines, claiming that vaccines cause autism, which. they. do. not.
What could possibly go wrong if the general public no longer has free access vaccines? The possibilities are endless …
Remember when Trump secretly sent coveted Covid-19 testing machines to Vladimir Putin (BBC, 10/9/24). for personal use when they were in short supply here? Will we all someday have swear an oath of allegience to Trump in order to get a vaccine? Or, will we have to pay for our vaccines with $Trump?
Those are the kinds of things dictators do.
The question is: What are we going to do about it?
We cannot stand idly by. We have to call, call, call our congresspeople and show them we’re serious about holding them accountable! (Check out the three awesome ‘5 Calls’ actions below).
We also need to take to the streets in large numbers (on Labor Day!) and show them we’re on our way to the critical 3.5% of the population needed to overthrow a dictator (BBC, 5/13/19).
