Each week, the IMC-CAD Team receives suggested actions from a wide range of activists through its CAD Team Action Submission Form, and works with legislative experts (the Indivisible, ACLU, Common Cause, Progressive Mass and MIRA) to vet and prioritize a short list of actions for the week. These are sent to dozens of newsletter editors and individuals each Wednesday through this, the “IMC-CAD Weekly Action Dispatch.”
Please consider distributing these priority IMC-CAD actions to your networks each week so we can multiply our power and increase our impact! All actions can be done either by individuals or groups.

The Freedom Writers is partnering with Reclaim Our Vote to reach out to registered Black voters and urge them to vote in VA’s general election in November for Gov, Lt.Gov, AG, and House of Delegates. (NOTE that this script must remain nonpartisan, as Reclaim Our Vote is a 501(c)3 nonprofit).

This is ridiculous!
We’ve been asking for YEARS for the MA Legislature to pass 4 bills we need to protect our immigrant, trans and pregnant community members. They are:
Safe Communities Act – Keep local resources focused on safety, not ICE.
Dignity Not Deportation – End Trump’s cruel deportation pipelines.
Location Shield Act – To protect our privacy from bad actors who want to track immigrant, trans and pregnant people.
Corporate Fair Share Act – To ensure corporations pay their fair share to fund the things that keep us safe.
Here at the Freedom Writers, we’re strapping mad that they still haven’t done it yet. We want action now, for crying out loud!
So we’ve created a different kind of postcard campaign: We call it the “Pass These 4 Bills Postcards” campaign. We designed the postcard below, and we want EVERYONE in Mass to not just use these cards to write to their own 2 MA Legislators, many times, if necessary, but also give the postcards to as many MA residents as you can, so they can write them too.
Share them at Farmer’s Markets, action group meetings, church gatherings and stand outs … anywhere MA residents with beating hearts come together. (ORDER HERE)

When you ORDER THEM, please make a donation to cover the cost of sending them to you. We’re trying to provide them to as many people as possible at cost.
Each packet of the “Pass These 4 Bills” postcards will come with complete instructions on how to find the addresses of your 1 MA Senator and 1 MA Representative and send it to them.
We plan to continue providing these postcards until all 4 of these bills are passed.
