On June 14th, No Kings Day, we were 5M strong. 5 million American Patriots took action to save their country from tyranny.
We have the momentum. We have the power.
Today, we need to get everyone we know (and others we have yet to meet) to step up and pound our Senators, with call after call, postcard after postcard to STOP these 2 bills from passing:
H.R. 1 (The Big Bill of Betrayal) that will demolish rural hospitals, cut medicaid (making EVERYONE’s healthcare more expensive) and explode our deficit.
H.R. 4 (the Rescissions Bill) that would make all the DOGE cuts legal. As Bill Gates said, “The picture of the world's richest man killing the world's poorest children is not a pretty one.”
Please consider this:
Actions speak louder than ‘Tweets,’ ‘Likes,’ or ‘Shares.’
If all you’re doing is tweeting and liking and sharing, you’re NOT doing enough.
Taking action is: calling your 2 Senators. Taking action is: getting other people to call their 2 Senators. Taking action is: getting over your allergic reaction to phone banks, and joining a phone bank to call voters from red states to ask them to call their 2 Senators.
THOSE are actions. THIS is what democracy looks like.
If you’re serious about saving our country from Trump, please help us. Get serious about taking the actions that will make a difference.

THE CAMPAIGN:
The Freedom Writers is partnering with Activate America to write to registered voters in Republican held districts about their member of Congress’ decisive role in passing the cruel Republican budget that will blow up Medicaid. NO ONE VOTED FOR THIS. We'll be writing to voters in Republican Congressman Lawler's district, NY-17.
THE POSTCARD PACKETS - 20 Postcards - $15.00 - Each packet should take about 90 min to do.
Materials in Packet:
20 postcards
20 Postcard Stamps ($0.56 each)
1 instruction sheet with script and sample
1 sheet with 20 names/addresses

About the CAD Weekly Action Dispatch:
The CAD (Coordinated Action Dispatch) Team is an Action Team of Indivisible Massachusetts Coalition.
Each week, the CAD Team receives suggested actions from a wide range of activists through its CAD Team Action Submission Form, and works with legislative experts (the Indivisible, ACLU, Common Cause, Progressive Mass and MIRA) to vet and prioritize a short list of actions for the week. These are sent to dozens of newsletter editors (who publish the actions in their local newsletters) and individuals each Wednesday through this, the “CAD Weekly Action Dispatch.”
