The D.O.G.E. Gestapo just cost US Taxpayers $135B — against how much savings??
DOGE claims it has saved the US taxpayers $160B tax dollars, but (a) those saving are not yet verified by any independent source, and (b) according to an independent source, those cuts have also cost taxpayers $135B.
So if DOGE’s claim of savings turns out to be true, that would be a net savings of $25B, not $160B, right? Still a substantial amount of money, right?
Er … since the $160B gain has not yet been verified by any non paritisan research group like the $135B number has, we don’t know. The Freedom Writers need more information from reliable sources before we can draw any conclusions.

But that effort may also have come at a cost for taxpayers, with a new estimate from a nonpartisan research and advocacy group estimating that DOGE's actions will cost $135 billion this fiscal year.”
Join us as we monitor these so-called ‘savings’ that the D.O.G.E. has proportedly NETTED for the American tax payer. Are we really better off without the Soc Security services they have cut? … without the Veteran’s Benefits they have cut? … without the Medicare Benefits they have cut? Stay tuned as we responsibly track these numbers and try to figure out what the net gain actually is for the American People.
Note that Trump has decided to let Musk go, so he (Trump) has clearly determined that his net gain from Musk is in the negative. But what was the REAL cost/benefit of Musk’s antics for the American tax payer? The Freedom Writers want to know, and that’s what we’ll be monitoring.
But make no mistake, in the mean time, our stance is first and foremost: take action to stop the DOGE Gestapo-Mobile from robbing Americans of their duly earned Social Security and Veteran’s services and benefits. If DOGE dares to deminish those benefits, THAT WOULD NOT BE ‘cost cutting.’ That’s an out-right breach of contract. From the Government’s perspective, those expendatures should be treated as debts, not ‘expenses,’ FULL STOP.
If Musk really thinks Soc Sec is a ponzi scheme, that only proves he’s dull headed. Social Security is not a ponzi scheme. It’s a social contract … with teeth.
Wake up, Mr. Musk. This is what democracy looks like. : )
