Today’s Actions - Sat 1/18/25
Today is “The People’s March Day”!
I’ll be in Washington DC today at the People’s March on the Mall! (See our Action Sheet #003 which was posted on 1/7/25 for more info.) One of my favorite things to do at big marches like this is get photos of all those artistic, inspirational signs. It warms my little creative soul! I’ll add a collection of those photos to the chat later in the day. I’ll be careful not to include any of the protesters faces so as to protect their identities.
If you attend any of the People’s March protests planned for today and your a subscriber, please share your photos (without faces) with us!

If you’d like to do your actions with postcards, remember to buy your postcards and stamps ahead of time.
Today is not only “People’s March Day” here at the Freedom Writers. It’s also “Block the Appointments of Unfit Nominees Day.” For all of these actions, you will contact your US Senators.
If you prefer to CALL your Senators, it would make sense to do all three of these actions in the same call.
HOWEVER, if you prefer to send postcards, letters or emails, please send a separate message for each nominee. We believe that each email or piece of mail that is received by your Senator’s office will only be counted toward one issue, so to express your concern about 3 nominees, it’s best to send 3 messages.
