While 'Mommy' and 'Daddy' fight, people are still being ‘disappeared’ in LA, and Kilmar is back in the US.
I know what you’re thinking … the most pressing question on everyone’s mind is: Who is the ‘Mommy’ and who is the ‘Daddy’ in this ‘Mommy and Daddy’ fight? Is Trump the Mommy or is Elon the Mommy? Well, first, obviously, that’s kind of a sexist question, because, doesn’t it assume that the ‘Mommy’ is automatically the weaker / more hysterical of the two? And when you put it that way, it’s a tough call. They are both HUGE drama queens. Popcorn sales are soaring!
If I had to choose, I’d have to say Trump is the Mommy, just because I think he’d hate being called the Mommy more … Trump is SO emotional … ahhh, but then, so is Elon! Like I said … it’s a tough call.
Unfortunately for us, that’s actually NOT the most pressing question.
People are still being ‘disappeared’ by ICE everyday in our country, most recently in LA. And Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been returned to the U.S. to face federal criminal charges. It remains to be seen whether those charges are legitimate or not.
Even though Trump would love to distract us with his drama(s)-de-jour, we all need to keep our eyes on the ball that counts here … or should I say ‘the balls’?
ACTUALLY, the most pressing question is this: What actions will we take TODAY to show our Congresspeople that WE ARE KEEPING OUR EYES ON ALL THE BALLS that count?
ACTION is the only thing that can possibly make a difference here. Not clicks. Not likes. Not shares. And certainly not DISTR-action.
ACTION is the only thing that can potentially work. So, it is ACTION we must take, my Freedom Writer friends.
